Bandra Gets a New Irani Cafe Revival

Cafe Parallel brings bun maska and berry pulao to Bandra Reclamation

Culture Irani cafeBandraMumbai

Cafe Parallel has opened in Bandra Reclamation, as reported by Mint Lounge.

The cafe is the latest venture from Aaliya Ahuja, the name behind Oleander Farms, Saltt Karjat, Uppu, and Pure Kitchen. The menu leans into classic Irani cafe staples: bun maska, kheema pav, akuri, berry pulao, and lagan nu custard. Ekdum ghar jaisa, but with a Bandra address.

With Irani cafes going quieter across Bombay's streets, Cafe Parallel is a deliberate nod to that rare institution. Whether it sticks the landing is for the regulars to decide.
